As an Automotive Spare Parts Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and distribution of spare parts within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked, efficiently managed, and readily available to meet the demands of our customers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, replenishment orders, and inventory discrepancies.
Conduct regular audits to assess inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and obsolete inventory.
Procurement and Sourcing:
Collaborate with procurement teams to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for spare parts procurement.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of spare parts to meet operational requirements.
Evaluate alternative sourcing options to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Spare Parts Distribution:
Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill spare parts requests in a timely manner.
Develop and implement distribution strategies to streamline the movement of spare parts within the organization.
Monitor distribution processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations.
Team Leadership and Training:
Supervise a team of spare parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the spare parts department.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of spare parts personnel.
Customer Service and Support:
Liaise with customers to understand their spare parts requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to spare parts availability and quality.
Collaborate with customer service teams to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in spare parts management within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of inventory control principles, procurement processes, and supply chain management.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
