Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Spares In-Charge to oversee the inventory and management of spare parts within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of spares, and maintaining optimal stock levels to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory of spare parts, including monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits.
Procure spare parts in a timely manner, liaising with suppliers and negotiating terms as needed.
Organize and oversee the storage of spares, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to forecast demand and address urgent needs.
Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize downtime and excess stock.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
