Assistant Professor in Agricultue

Required:

Teaching:

• Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in agriculture.
• Supervise and mentor students in their academic and research endeavors.
• Incorporate modern technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.

Research:

• Conduct and publish original research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Secure external funding through grants and partnerships.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department, across the university, and at other institutions.

Service:

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Engage in community outreach and extension activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Agriculture or a closely related field is mandatory
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
• Evidence of potential to secure external funding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
• Background in agricultural technology, sustainable agriculture, or a related area.
• Experience in extension and outreach activities.
