Chef de Partie- Indian

The Lazy Dog is seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie specializing in Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Indian cooking, with a flair for creating traditional and innovative dishes that delight our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

• Prepare and cook Indian dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared with the highest quality ingredients and attention to detail.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.

Station Management:

• Manage and oversee the Indian cuisine section of the kitchen.
• Ensure the station is well-stocked and organized, maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.

Menu Development:

• Assist in the development and refinement of Indian menu items.
• Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu.
• Provide input on menu changes and specials.

Quality Control:

• Monitor the quality of ingredients and prepared dishes.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Address any issues related to food quality promptly.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
• Minimize waste and manage resources efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
