Retirement Planning Administrator

 Position:

In this new role, you’ll be a part of the Wealth Management Team and will be responsible for the support and service of Corporate Retirement Accounts. The Retirement Planning Administrator will work with clients and advisors closely servicing their retirement plan administration needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and provide assistance to clients regarding retirement plan investments, plan provisions, administration, record-keeping matters, along with troubleshooting plan issues with the provider and provide effective solutions in a timely manner 
• Coordinate the implementation of new retirement plan accounts, as well as the transition of existing accounts to new record keepers and/or new provider platforms
• Prepare documents to formulate a Request for Information and/or Request for Proposal for new prospects or existing clients 
• Prepare annual ITS/DOL Form 5500EZ reports and related schedules 
• Analyze retirement plan data to conduct investment fee and performance comparison between current and proposed fund selections and providers 
• Prepare retirement income plans using MoneuGuide Pro
• Promote and encourage creative and innovative approaches to improving client satisfaction
• Coordinate payroll details with payroll clients 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 
• 3-5 years of experience working with Corporate Retirement Plan Clients required 
• Experience working with 401 (k) and defined benefit pension plans 
• Must be organized with exceptional mathematical analysis skills as well as clear and concise written and oral communication
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, especially MS Excel 
• Series 65 preferred
