COMPENSATION : $18-$25 per hour (average all-in with base pay, tips, bonuses, and other incentives)

As a Dispatcher : $18-$20 per hour

Daily Bonus Eligibility based on KPIs

As a Truck Team Member : Base starts at $16 for Drivers and total earning are upwards of $20-$25 per hour (average all-in with base pay, tips, bonuses, and other incentives)

POSITION SUMMARY :

You will split your time between a Dispatcher and Truck Team Member.

As a Dispatcher, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly at the 1-800-GOT-JUNK franchise by assigning the routes and job timelines / schedule, providing precise logistics for truck team members / drivers to follow, and coordinating with customers.

As a Truck Team Member, each day is different from the next. Each shift starts where you’ll be matched up with team members and travel around to different areas of the city in our awesome blue trucks! You'll visit our customers’ homes or businesses to remove their unwanted items - while providing exceptional customer service.

• Truck Team Qualifications :
• MUST be 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
• MUST have a valid driver's license and 3-year clean driving record (past 3 years)
• MUST be reliable, hard-working, and have a great attitude!
• MUST be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.

Dispatcher Qualifications and Responsibilities :

• Providing precise logistics for our truck teams to follow along on their route.
• Driving our customer commitment of On-Time Service
• Point of contact for truck team members and sales center to ensure all information is in place for efficient execution of exceptional work by our team on the field.

Key Responsibilities :

This Dispatcher is the point of contact for drivers and has the information needed to produce the job.

1. Answer calls and document important information.

2. Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate truck team members.

3. Operate and manage calls and messages from customers, team members, and management.

4 Use technology including iPhone, Tablet & access to integrated software

5. Respond to queries related to scheduled services and proactively reach out if route changes will impact timelines

6. Prioritize and organize calls and services according to the urgency

7. Manage Dispatch schedule to ensure availability is maximized and conduct

8. Ensure compliance around safety and team breaks

9. Make and receive check-in calls from Truck Team Members

10 Conduct Welcome Calls with customers

11. Supervise the route and status of field teams to prioritize their daily schedule

12. Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation within our booking and scheduling system.

Education and Experience :

1. Education :

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required

2. Experience :

Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position

Experience creating routes and coordinating schedules

Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD)

Proficient in English (oral and written)

Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities

Active listener with excellent communication skills

Sound judgment and critical thinking

Skills and Knowledge : (Required skills for the role currently)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledgeable and Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, Excel, Word, G-Suite, etc.

GPS software experience desired

Strong attention-to-detail and multi-tasking abilities

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
