POSITION SUMMARY
PetMeds is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist with a strong background in email marketing. This role will work closely with the Director of Retention Marketing and others to plan, develop and execute campaigns that drive conversion, engagement, customer loyalty, repeat purchases and lifetime value (LTV).
100% Remote Position - Must reside in one of the following states: FL, AZ, CA, CT, ID, MD, MI, OK, SC, VA, WI, NJ, GA, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee email campaign set up, proofing, scheduling and reporting using Iterable
- Work with the Director of Retention Marketing and other members of the marketing team to plan and develop campaigns
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling email and direct mail content
- Conduct ongoing testing and optimization to maximize effectiveness
- Analyze campaign results and provide regular reporting to the Director of Retention Marketing and other stakeholders
- Ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience across email, direct mail and other channels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution of campaigns
- Monitor email deliverability and IP reputation
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED
- Direct mail experience is a plus
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization of email and direct mail campaigns.
- Knowledge of advanced customer segmentation and targeting.
- Experience in e-commerce or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience with email marketing platforms such as Iterable (preferred), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, SendGrid, Marketo, etc
- Proficient understanding of journey mapping, email triggers, segmentation, and behavioral targeting
