- Bilingual preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Implement language and pragmatic strategies with children
- Provide treatment for students with medical diagnoses, such as Cleft Lip, Cerebral Palsy, Chromosome deletions, etc.
- Conduct regular periodic meetings with families to report on the progress of therapy and receive parent feedback.
- Provide school-age children with the group and individual speech therapy that focuses on articulation, fluency, language, AAC, pragmatics, phonological awareness, etc.
- Educate teachers and other paraprofessionals about speech and language symptoms.
- Assist SLP in developing speech and language goals to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.
- Monitor student progress, objectives, and adjust delivery of speech/language services as appropriate
