Job Description:
The Senior Cloud Engineer will contribute to implementing, managing, and maintaining the Company’s cloud environments, including Microsoft 365 / Azure, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and AWS footprints. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a strong understanding of and demonstrated experience architecting and implementing hybrid cloud environments, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc. They should also have experience designing and managing these environments for compliance and security requirements and leveraging automation in testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field of study 8-10 years’ combined experience.
- Must have Azure Cloud Platform/Infrastructure Engineering experience (do not send DevOps Engineers – per the hiring manager)
- Secondary Oracle Cloud (OIC) and/or AWS Platform/Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Azure Cloud Engineer should know/understand, ITIL, Data Center and DevOps processes…the client is not looking for a DevOps Engineer
- Experience in IT Infrastructure design, management, and migration of technologies from on-prem to cloud environments
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud and DevOps best practices
- Experience building an automated cloud infrastructure across development, test, and production environments
- Expertise in scripting, orchestration and automation of builds, workflows, tasks, etc.
- Experience with container orchestration
- Experience with Serverless architecture design, implementation and deployment
- Cloud configuration management, Infrastructure as Code toolsets.
