Job Description
Role: Sr. IT Delivery Manager
Duration: 6 months, possibly a little longer
Location: Client is located in Troy, Michigan. Local hybrid is highly preferred, but remote will be considered for the right candidate. If a candidate is local, they are expected to go on-site 1-2 days a week.
*Notes*: The client is implementing voice biometrics into their contact center. They need someone who has worked on infrastructure projects in IT, ideally having done voice biometrics or telecom projects recently. They did tell us that this position will not go until the end of the year as there is not enough work for this person to do, but if they do a good job that they could potentially work in another department at once the project is complete.

Skills & Job Responsibilities:
Skills Required • 5 years of experience in managing moderate to large scale IT projects
- Proven ability to manage internal and external development projects from inception to successful implementation
- Budget management of large, complex projects (meeting or exceeding $1M in spend)
- Strong project management skills with the demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple small and large projects in a cross-functional environment and follow PMO process which includes tollgates, weekly status reporting and managing the budget
- Strong understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management • Comfortable working in an environment with Project Governance that includes documented tollgates and presentations to move through project phases.
- Strong ability to influence those not within direct control
- Proven ability to establish a high level of trust and confidence in both the business and IT communities
- Strong ability to deliver presentations of complex information to a variety of audiences including presentations at the CIO governance board for tollgates and go to green plans
- Comfortable designing PowerPoint decks to clearly articulate complex project details
- High level of experience with MS Office Suite / 365 including Project and Visio Preferred
- 10 years of IT business experience in technical project management including development, implementation and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms
- 2 years multifunctional infrastructure and/or development experience • 2 years vendor activity oversight • Experience developing dashboards to measure the project ROI • Experience managing budget, resources, risks and issues using Clarity
- Experience with SharePoint for project collateral and communication.
- Experience implementing software in a Call Center Environment either as a Project Manager or member of the team
- Experience implementing voice biometrics a plus
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and technology Description of Responsibilities The Project Manager will manage a large enterprise project to implement voice biometrics for 2 Call Centers supporting our direct customers. This project will include multiple IT disciplines and IT Operations. The Project Manager oversees the execution of all aspects of the project implementation for large scale corporative initiatives, which includes cost benefits analysis, work plans, functional and technical designs, construction testing and implementation, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation of new software and /or systems, and monitors all technical aspects of implementing projects.
- Oversees analysis, planning, developing technical requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related technical aspects of the project.
- Provides both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues, and makes recommendations on project decision to Program Manager and Senior Management. • Coordinates activities and planning with the business areas for operational readiness activities to provide support and ensure adoption of new systems and business processes.
