Summary: In this role, you will support the strategic growth of our Indirect Spend & Supply Chain consulting business by collaborating and supporting cross functional teams. You will deliver influential communications with clarity and confidence to senior-level audiences, and support sales efforts by identifying client upsell and cross-sell opportunities, finding new sales ventures, and serving as a subject matter expert throughout the sales process. Role Responsibilities: Plans and leads quality execution of large, complex projects, programs or operations. Oversees an engagement portfolio and manages project P&Ls. Manages and develops direct reports and/or project team members, and coaches others to be high-performers. Supports function/practice development activities, including launch and implementation of new or improved services/products. Meets or exceeds contractual obligations, including savings guarantees for all assigned projects and leading to high member satisfaction. Identifies additional Provider and Supplier solutions or work flow design processes that will enhance the overall value of our consulting projects and strategic partnerships. Supports existing team members and providing expertise in recruiting additional healthcare supply chain expertise that will be needed to support our growth. Leads teams through complex process improvement activities and identifying opportunities that will provide meaningful value to our Employees, Providers and Suppliers. Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders that includes Vizient team members, Providers and Suppliers. Ensures that we continue to drive revenue growth and execute deliverables successfully for all statement of works/projects. Provides thought leadership that will challenge the status quo and be bold in the attempt to implement change and improve the processes, financials and quality metrics of our Provider projects. Transfer technical knowledge to other teammates that will enhance their learning of healthcare supply chain industry. Skills/Requirements: Relevant degree preferred. 10 or more years of relevant experience required. Understand the P&L and budget/forecasting process that will lead to successful financial performance and optimize staffing required for implementation of all projects. Understand complex multi hospital system supply chains in the areas of Sourcing, Purchasing, Distribution, Inventory Control and Shared Services across the various clinical services lines of provider operations. Ability to provide detailed analysis and feedback on opportunistic areas we can focus to help our members. Strong executive presence and confidence in conversing on difficult subjects across the member enterprise. Has the ability to tie the capabilities and solutions of Vizient to the complex supply chain challenges our members are facing.
