JOB SUMMARY The Senior Enterprise Analyst will work closely with internal business customers to provide day-to-day systems support and enhancements for key applications, as well as to support requirements and process gathering for medium-to-large projects and programs. Principal Duties and Responsibilities. Operate with a “total service” mindset; accounting - in all interactions - for both the process and technical health of the application portfolio managed by the team Coordinate with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define/document business, financial, operations requirements and systems goals, and identify/resolve systems and process issues. Support application fit-for-purpose and build vs. buy analyses sessions with business users and ETS peers Perform simple to moderately complex configuration activities in platform supported Support design sessions in prototyping new systems and features to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow. Provide input to the team on how to enhance our systems to make our users more effective. Collaborate in the planning, design, testing, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to applications in Manhattan’s Accounting, Finance, and Legal Services spaces. Create process flows, specifications, diagrams, and charts in support of overall service management goals, and as support to provide direction to system programmers. Coordinate, Support, and Conduct (as needed) in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support. Coordinate, Support, and Conduct orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems as needed in a way they can easily learn and apply. Liaise with, and direct the efforts of, software and implementation vendors, 3rd party support, and on/off-shore service and support personnel Reinforce process innovation, and a commitment to common platforms and best practices, in support of the service area MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5 years experience in business analysis: gathering requirements, documenting process flow, use case generation, and user test support in support of enhancement projects related to application software in Accounting and Finance processes within MS Great Plains Demonstrated high-level knowledge of business processes in the Accounting/Finance space: Q2C, OTC, P2P, RTR, etc. 5 years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains – version 2015 or newer 3 years experience with general Application user access and administration concepts 3 years practical knowledge in importing data for use in reporting software, spreadsheets (Excel), graphs, and flow charts (Visio) Working knowledge/experience with Salesforce and SQL Server Working knowledge/experience with integration concepts, specifically with industry-standard toolsets (e.g., MuleSoft) Ability to learn, understand and adopt new software platforms and processes 3 years experience using Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence agile toolsets or similar 5 years experience documenting business process flows using MS Visio or similar High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products Good communication skills and ability to communicate at some levels of the organization (technical and business) 5 years experience translating requirements into test scripts 3 years experience with SharePoint for document management and sharing 3 years experience working with small, geographically distributed teams 3 years experience working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment 3 years experience with IT ticketing software (Quality Center, ServiceNow, JIRA) 2 years experience in agile/waterfall software delivery methodologies Ability to be flexible while delivering assignments with understanding that deliverables may change based on business needs PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 5 years of experience directly supporting application end-users in an Enterprise Accounting and Finance (FP&A) processing environment 5 years of experience as a systems support/delivery resource in a multi-disciplinary Enterprise IT organization High degree of familiarity as an IT user of ServiceNow Experience interfacing with vendors or 3rd party support personnel. Experience with Agile methodology, and user story definitions.
