Conducts programs (i.e. health screenings, education, etc.) for the purpose of complying with the law including parental and/or guardian consent. Collaborates with parents, students, health care providers, and other agencies for the purpose of promoting needed treatment, securing information, and complying with legal requirements. Coordinates the administration of, and provides direction for first aid, medication, and specialized medical treatment for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile, and / or injured children. Provides training on various subjects such as CPR, disaster preparedness, child abuse, health education. Age group- PreK Caseload- About 100 studentsQualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Current, valid state license at the level of registered nurse Valid first aid and CPR certificate ability to be certified as an instructor Current first aid certification Basic computer skills Exceptional time management and communication skills.
