Job Responsibilities:
As a School Nurse at 10 Points, you'll play a vital role in fostering inclusive learning environments for students with diverse needs.
- Assessing students’ health needs and implementing nursing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
- Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding students’ health concerns.
- Providing health education to students, staff, and parents on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience working with children with special needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing school.
- Registered Nurse (SN) license in the state of Illinois.
