We are looking for a competent Billing Specialist to join 100% EPIC, a chiropractic billing company, to undertake a variety of tasks in order to help process offices insurance claims and payments. Prior experience is preferred. Medical Billing Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming explanation of benefits with attention to detail
- Manage accurate balances and identify inconsistencies in the documents uploaded for posting
- Effectively communicate to offices about any missing data needed to complete posting
Skills
- Proven experience as billing specialist (not required)
- Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with private health benefit informations
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other)
- Proficiency in English
- Results-driven and patient
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
