Organization Overview: Corporate Audit Services is the independent and objective audit and consulting function of Eli Lilly and Company. Its mission is to assist the Company in achieving its objectives by implementing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organization’s risk management, control and governance processes. Corporate Audit Services is focused on global coverage of multiple practice areas: financial controls, ethical conduct, privacy, information technology controls, information asset security, governance, third parties, business process areas, and Sarbanes-Oxley (Sox) compliance. The IT Lead Auditor position is responsible for efficient and effective design and execution of audit engagements and projects. Position supervises cross-functional teams of up to eight persons on domestic and international audits to test compliance with good internal control practices and corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assessing risks, setting scope, designing audit programs, coaching and developing teams, sharing key learning across the organization, serving as a technical expert and SME in the areas of Information Technology and Information Security, and making overall process improvements. Additionally, the lead auditor will participate or lead IT process ownership teams within Corporate Audit Services designed to work closely with the business to identify emerging risks and monitor remediation plans. This position reports to a member of the Corporate Audit Services management team. Responsibilities: Scope and design audits to identify control risks, with primary focus on information technology controls, privacy, and information security (IS) compliance. Lead execution of domestic and international audits in a high quality, timely and efficient manner, consistent with Corporate Audit Services’ procedures and IIA standards Supervise audit fieldwork and serve as a coach to team members throughout the audit process Communicate audit results to business clients and prepare the final audit report for distribution Maintain, develop and enhance skills related to current audit policies and practices Share best practices and make process improvements Partner with the business via IT/IS process ownership responsibilities including risk and audit unit identification. Be an expert in Information Technology and Information Security risks and controls Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering or other field with equivalent work experience 4 or more years work experience in IT/IS support and development Audit, quality, regulatory, or comparable experience Additional Preferences: Working knowledge of SAP Knowledge of Software engineering and cybersecurity concepts Understanding of Privacy Policy and Protect Lilly concepts Working towards or have obtained professional certification in IT/IS or audit area (CISA, CIA, CISSP, etc.) System ownership or management experience, including technical support to end users Strong learning agility for learning new and complex areas of the business Demonstrate critical thinking skills Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to supervise and motivate diverse teams Strong organizational/planning skills Ability to interact with all levels of management Demonstrated accountability, decision making, and high integrity Demonstrated positive attitude and strong engagement Additional Information: Position is located at Lilly Corporate Center, Indianapolis Domestic and international travel up to 25% - 35% (when travel is allowed) with international trips typically two weeks in duration (including weekend travel).
