Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Associate - Salesforce Ventures in San Francisco, CA: Job Duties: Help lead all aspects of investment process and deal execution, including deep, fundamental analysis on company’s operating performance, market diligence and competitive analysis, investment theses and risks, investment committee materials preparation and presentation, make investment recommendations, etc. Lead idea generation and deal sourcing as well as assist senior investing team in various aspects of the deal sourcing process. Actively work and build relationships with portfolio companies post investment through exposing them to the Salesforce Ventures network and help advise on various strategic initiatives including preparation for an upcoming financing round, acquisition, IPO exit, etc. Monitor, research, and develop intelligence and investment themes on emerging trends and disruptive companies in the enterprise software, vertical software, health tech and fintech ecosystems. Build and develop entrepreneurial network via relationships with venture capitalists, investment bankers, and entrepreneurs for potential investment opportunities and expand market access in existing and emerging thematic areas. Quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player with exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Intellectual curiosity and true passion for technology impacting enterprises is critical for success in this role. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May travel to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of investment banking, consulting, investing and/or operations or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
