Sign-On Bonuses Tuition Reimbursement Flexible scheduling options Position Highlights: The Step-Down Critical Care Unit (SDCC) is a 12 bed unit in the Critical Care Division that provides care to patients that need a level of care in between the intensive care units and the progressive care units. The Critical Care Intensivist and the nursing staff collaborate to provide Extraordinary Care to each of the patients and family members on the unit. Our Priority is to ensure safety to all patients. Our patients include, but not limited to, Traumas, Surgery, Transplants, Lung disorders and Ventilated patients. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 16 years of age required. • Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska. • Demonstrated effective communication skills required. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later). Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred. • Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of 18 years of age required. • High school education or equivalent required. • Six months experience in patient care required or must be enrolled in nursing program. • Demonstrated effective communication skills required. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later). Preferred Qualifications: • Direct patient care experience preferred. • Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred. • Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
