Fixed Income: Senior Product Manager

The Research & Advisory (R&A) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is focused on innovating the foundation of FactSet’s product offering. By marrying robust content, intuitive applications, and innovative technology, we defend and grow our footprint across several key user classes including wealth management, investment banking, sell-side research, buy-side research, private equity, portfolio managers, traders, capital markets, investor relations, and media. This Senior Product Manager will be an integral member of the Fixed Income Development team with a focus on our workflow strategy, product roadmap and go-to-market messaging across the entire global, investable fixed income universe. You will collaborate and work directly with senior leaders and product owners across the organization to help execute on FactSet’s Fixed Income strategy. You will become one of a key group of people who make a significant contribution to FactSet's overall Fixed Income product offering. You will have deep product management skills, experience with Scrum/Agile, and be comfortable directing teams. We are seeking a collaborative yet self-directed difference maker who wants the incremental value of their projects to lead to meaningful impact. You should have a curiosity and empathy for our users and be able to provide perspective on how we can improve their experiences in the near, medium, and long terms. Direct responsibilities include: Develop workflow strategy for Fixed Income, and corresponding product roadmap and messaging Bring a product-led mindset to our development Effectively and accurately communicate our development process and deliverables Bring a meaningful voice to the strategic direction of our product suite Competencies: Insights: Clever, insightful, and pragmatic when evaluating data /research; Regularly interacts with users to gain insight. Able to translate insights into value; Identifies and tracks the metrics that matter. Strategy: Translate company and Firm Type strategies into specific priorities and objectives for their products. Leadership & Inclusion: Outstanding communicator who is highly credible and engaging. Sought out by others as a subject matter expert for their product area. Qualifications: Minimum 5-8 years of product managemenexperience in fixed income on the buy-side, sell-side, or financial technology firm Bachelors' degree or equivalent Strong understanding of client workflows and Fixed Income content preferred Understanding of the fixed income investment lifecycle and how our clients operate Knowledge of fixed income markets Prior experience and expertise in specific sectors of the global bond universe Exceptional collaboration, organizational & communication skills Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture Global Fixed Income experience a plus What’s In It For You: Flexible work accommodations.
