The Orlando group's main business is the implementation of mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers. Job Description Environment/Schedule: We are seeking individuals who are available to work at our Orlando, FL Motorola Solutions office. The schedule can be adjusted to accommodate your home and family needs. You will have the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively with a team, depending on the task at hand. Additionally, your presence in the office will ensure shop coverage, allowing our field teams to take necessary breaks and leave when needed. Your responsibilities will include providing in-person office coverage for deliveries, shipment pickups, and attending to walk-in customer requests. Assist work teams with the following: Handle customer inquiries and tasks efficiently and professionally via phone communication. Perform necessary paperwork tasks, including using Tigerpaw for daily task ticketing and processing completed work. Ensure accurate reporting in the time tracking system (Tigerpaw) on a weekly basis, adhering to deadlines set by the manager. Conduct data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Process expense reports in compliance with Motorola Solutions HR Guidelines. Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock quantities and coordinating with vendors. Arrange and coordinate the shipment of equipment for repair and calibration. Coordinate the ordering, receipt, and organization of equipment, shop supplies, and repair parts for team projects. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain repair and return authorizations for equipment. Generate and complete purchase orders in collaboration with Accountants and Sales teams. Collaborate with Accountants and Sales teams to create Installation Agreements. Address in-person customer requests, documenting equipment drop-offs and pick-ups. Contact customers to arrange equipment pick-ups, provide small parts, and quote installation services. Coordinate with vendors to order parts for project needs. Provide administrative support to shop personnel, ensuring smooth operations. Organize, schedule, and coordinate meetings as necessary. Prepare accurate and detailed quotes for customer projects, excluding sales-related activities. Process warranty claims efficiently and accurately. Schedule and dispatch Technicians for service calls and installations. Maintain a clean and pleasant working environment for the team. Note: Heavy lifting tasks will be handled by appropriate team members. Candidate Requirements: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities, suitable for an office environment. Demonstrates familiarity with Tigerpaw or a comparable system. Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications. Familiarizes oneself with Microsoft Windows 11 operating system. Displays familiarity with Google Suite applications, such as Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Meet, etc. Possesses basic knowledge of radio communication and vehicle upfitting, which would be highly advantageous. Fluency in multiple languages is preferred. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain background clearance as required by US government customer(s) #LI-CC1 Basic Requirements Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
