Live What you will do The Device Imaging Engineer will play a vital role in the overall delivery of the enterprise device management tools, capabilities, functions, and features for Digital Workplace Experience Group. The Device Imaging engineer will be responsible for developing enterprise computer images for physical and virtual end-user devices. The engineer will work with OEM for custom factory Imaging (CFI) to support modern device provisioning. The Engineer will also provide L3 Administrative Support to Windows and VDI Environment. Key responsibilities: Perform all enterprise image builds and release activity with SCCM, MDT or any SaaS tools. Responsible for creation CFI Build for the enterprise to support Autopilot and Modern device provisioning. Responsible for Driving Windows Autopilot Program for the Enterprise with Intune and VMWare Workspace One. Image Certification on all the Amgen approved Hardware. Driver management for all the Amgen supported hardware. Responsible for creating Provisioning package to support OEM and CFI Build with VMWare Workspace One Provisioning tool. Creation of SCCM/MDT Task Sequence for the development of ACE build. Development of Custom scripts to Support OS Imaging. Responsible for leading Network imaging through PXE boot or related cloud-based technologies. Responsible for creating USB Build to support Modern Provisioning of Devices during break fix. Responsible for delivering stable, high-quality operating system build for Windows and AWS VDI devices. Drive ongoing improvement to imaging development, automation, and release processes Automate imaging processes using Microsoft PowerShell or equivalent technologies to streamline image development and delivery Run image testing and documentation efforts Follow Amgen change control processes for image release activities Collaborate with the Cloud Desktop team to provide technical service support for VDI environment Maintain knowledge of emerging image management technologies such ZTI/LTI/Cloud Imaging/Factory to Consumer. Using 1E Nomad Technology for Content Distribution. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree Or Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience Or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience Or Associate degree and 10 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems and software, mobile, or web experience Preferred Qualifications Excellent communications and time leadership skills At least 3 years of experience building and deploying enterprise end-user computer images Detailed knowledge of enterprise image and software management technologies including Microsoft SCCM or MDT and VMware Workspace ONE. Proficient with PXE Boot and other Network Technologies for OSD. Good understanding of 1E Nomad and other content pre-caching technologies. Experience in crafting and running custom Task Sequence variable. Competence with sophisticated desktop OS troubleshooting and support Solid grasp of Desktop Management related technologies and processes, including Active Directory, networking, monitoring, patching, group policy Very good understand of SAAS Based VDI Solutions. Experience in Coordinating Windows 10 devices at enterprise level. Experience on Active Directory Certificate services, DNS and DHCP Administration.
