Amgen is looking for a Talent Sourcer to build and execute a strategy that will deliver key technical talent for current opportunities in addition to pipelining talent for future roles. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Leader for Corporate Functions and Operations with a reporting line into an Information Systems Senior Manager and will be based out of our Tampa, FL office. In partnership with Information Systems executive leadership, HR, and Talent Acquisition, you will gain business insights to identify and hire critical technology talent. In addition, you will focus on creating and executing diversity sourcing plans and influencing and driving hiring teams and efforts.

Responsibilities & Scope:
- High visibility role responsible for leading hiring initiatives in the Information Systems organization, supporting the CIO's talent acquisition priorities
- Strong knowledge of sourcing channels and avenues (digital and non-digital) to acquire diverse technology talent such as data engineers, software engineers, etc. at scale
- Ability to serve as a thought partner and advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Influence change in both Talent Acquisition and Information Systems with hiring practices
- Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and news, and technology
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Talent Acquisition experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Talent Acquisition experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Talent Acquisition experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Talent Acquisition experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Workday as applicant tracking system
- Experience in a client facing role with exposure to senior level leadership
- Strong knowledge of technical talent market in Tampa, FL
- 8+ years experience in a recruiting, sourcing or scouting role
- In-depth experience in talent acquisition
- Bio/Pharma industry knowledge preferred; experience in the IT space strongly preferred
- Experience with designing, implementing, and promoting a creative new process
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence leaders in the organization
- Excellent creativity in terms of both strategic solutions and tactical ideas
- Ability to plan and lead multiple time critical projects at a time and accommodate shifting priorities
- High degree of flexibility, self-motivation and drive
- Experience in a fast-paced, quickly changing, high-growth environment
- Travel approximately 10%
