We are seeking a motivated, experienced Analog IC design Intern to provide support to our Industrial, Multi-Market Team located at ADI’s San Jose office Location. This team designs state of the art ICs for broad market customers’ power challenges with expansive power products. The candidate will work on design and verification of analog blocks in these mixed signal ICs and collaborate with other functional team engineers. Job Description: Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Design, simulate and verify low power analog/mixed-signal IC designs with guidance of senior engineers Establish verification plan and simulate design blocks Work closely with layout engineers on physical design to review layouts and provide feedback for optimal area and performance. Conduct Design Review and recommend solution if needed Support validation for designs in the lab, identify any deviations from requirements and implement corrective actions. Minimum qualifications Pursuing electrical engineering bachelor’s degree with emphasis on transistor level analog/mixed-signal IC design and systems Good understanding of Analog IC design and device physics fundamentals in the CMOS technology. Experience with cadence IC design EDA (Schematic entry/simulation) tools Excellent written and oral communications with experience in specification creation, technical report writing and test plans / instructions Able to work and collaborate in a team environment Preferred qualifications Experience with IC design related coursework or projects Education: Work Experience: Pay Rate Type: Hourly Eligible for Relocation: Yes Eligible for Work Visa Sponsorship: Yes This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations.
