What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at 101 Mobility?
Company Mission:
We are a local family owned small business that cares deeply about helping other families create a safe environment in their home or in the home of their loved ones. We do that by responding quickly, telling the truth, following through and being well trained on the equipment we support. In short, we install safety equipment. The core of our business is selling, servicing, installing and renting great quality stairlifts, wheelchair ramps, grab bars, elevator style lifts and other lifts or safety devices for the home.
What does Winning Look Like:
- Help companies and families learn about and purchase safety equipment.
- Meet with families, contractors or companies to assess safety needs (assessments include taking measurements, photos and site drawings to communicate solutions)
- Educate and partner with local contractors, architects and community resources
- Work with sub-contractors and internal team to ensure projects are completed as envisioned and as promised
Skills Needed to Win:

- A desire to help people and serve the community
- Must enjoy meeting new people and talking to contractors about general construction & building code
- An ambition to provide over-the-top service for customers
- Thorough in following through and following up
- A drive to see a project through from concept to completion
- Comfortable with spending up to 30 hours a week visiting contractors and families (we serve families from Twin Falls to Weiser and even up to Sun Valley and McCall)

- Eager to learn and grow by seeking and receiving feedback.
- Strong understanding about construction/building industry and practices
