Job Description Summary
Maintenance Specialist- Plant performs various tasks, including checking and unloading incoming shipments at the Paterson plant location in Paterson, WA. Following process to issue, return, kit parts for work orders assigned to all maintenance personnel. Directly accountable for assisting in cycle counts, receiving, and directly associated with compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002. Additional duties as assigned and reports to Team Leader Storeroom
Job Description
- Assist with all maintenance shop parts room activities.
- Works with maintenance personnel to obtain and issue parts.
- Restocks inventory as needed.
- Assist with operating a forklift or pallet jack.
- Data entry- SAP, Cycle counts, Schedules.
- Answer incoming and place phone calls.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
- Required GED or High School Diploma
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in material handling in all aspects of plant needs.
- Experience working with Excel, Microsoft Word, and SAP.
- 3-6 months of data entry experience.
- 6 months related experience preferred but not required.
- Lead experience preferred.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must have knowledge of inventory management.
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, twist and turn frequently.
- Exposed to an outdoor environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
- Exposure to outdoor environment for up to 6 hours per workday to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies.
- Ability to sit and turn back for long periods of time as well as do other movements required for job actions and procedures.
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $17.36 - $20.49
