Director, Brand Finance

Reporting to the Vice President, Brand Finance, you will partner with Brand/general management teams on implementing strategies to help build short and long-term financial performance. As Director of Finance, you will lead efforts to guide financial planning, influence strategy, prioritize investments, and oversee portfolio P&L. Incorporate best practices and benchmarks to improve processes and efficiencies. Partner with business teams and Finance partners (Sales & Trade Finance, Marketing Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, etc.) to provide insights to guide profitable decisions (inclusive of M&A analysis and activities). Lead and influence broader cross-functional teams, provide day-to-day leadership & coaching to team of Managers and Financial Analysts, and develop pipeline of finance talent for other areas of the organization. This includes providing guidance & coaching, leadership to staff, and development of individual career development plans. Minimum 10 years related experience. You Will: Be a business partner for brand/general management teams on accounting and finance related questions. This will involve the ability to assess business needs, resolve risks and opportunities in a timely manner, and clear communication of issues/business results Oversee the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for assigned component of the P&L and related balance sheet accounts Update the monthly/quarterly forecast for assigned function based on business changes. Communicate changes to business partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary on the changes and guidance on potential risk Lead month-end/quarter-end close process to ensure accurate P&L management and prompt identification and resolution of unusual items and issues Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests depending on the assigned function (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing) Responsible for project work that will rotate and cut across several different financial disciplines including FP&A, new product development, manufacturing investments, and in-market investments Lead the development of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned function Provide guidance, leadership, and developmental opportunities to staff, extended team members and peers Elevate the team by recruiting, coaching, and developing people. Optimize workplace productivity; lead, motivate, evaluate, challenge and reward employees. You Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required MBA or CPA/CMA certification preferred Minimum 10 years of professional general business and financial experience Previous experience managing a team required Knowledge of financial systems and general accounting principles Knowledge of business operations, preferably in the in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry Experience with Power BI or other automation tools preferred Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred Our Modern Workplace: Conagra's culture of collaboration enhances our ability to meet critical business goals, deliver value to customers and consumers and provide you with the flexibility you need to achieve a better work-life balance.
