Job Details What you will do The Lean Implementer/Manufacturing Engineer will facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve breakthrough outstanding performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics. How you will do it Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant continuous improvement roadmap to bridge gaps in performance metrics. Use standard tracking and reporting systems to prepare detailed project plans, drive project, and assure accurate completion and achievement of savings goals. Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive outstanding performance in people, quality, material flow, and cost. Identify barriers to project success and solicit help from champions when needed. Conduct Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping). Mentor team members in understanding Lean principles. Assist in locating outstanding operations processes and implement within our plant. Show initiative, the desire to lead change and be motivated to go above and beyond. What we look for Required 2 years experience in Solution XT wiring, Factory Packaged Controls, and Factory Mounted End Devices Strong understanding of lean principles, including: 5S, Waste elimination, Pull systems, Kanban, Visual workspace, Flow Production, Set-Up Reduction, Standardized Work, Variation Reduction, Total Productive Maintenance, Problem Solving, and Level Loading. Basic statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects. Demonstrated effective leadership and project management skills. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority. Ability to drive change and complete project level assignments with little direction. Proficient using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint software. Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
