2nd Shift Forklift Operator/Material Handler

The Forklift Operator/Material Handler supplies materials to support a wall board laminating operation.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Move materials from the warehouse to the operations area using a forklift
• Move finished product to staging area and scan into inventory
• Work on production line as needed to support team
• Inspect forklift prior to operation daily
• Read work orders and ensure work area is stocked with needed materials to run line
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work may require stooping, bending, pushing and pulling

Qualifications

• 6-12 months experience operating a 4-wheel sit down forklift
• Ability to read, understand and enforce safety procedures
• Ability to work with and get along with others
