The Role:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for purchasing and managing the end-to-end supply chain process from order to delivery, for hardware products and services which are leveraged as part of 11:11’s global products & service offerings whilst driving sustainable improvements through cost & supply chain efficiencies. The Procurement Specialist must have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to act quickly, be detail oriented, and build strong internal relationships and with suppliers to ensure an efficient supply chain and life cycle for all purchases and assets owned and managed by the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Procure products and services from a variety of suppliers and negotiate most favorable terms, monitor price changes, maintain pricing history and Bills of materials.
- Understand technical differences between products and services and advise decision makers.
- Track when contracts & licenses expire and plan renewal negotiations far enough in advance to guarantee the best leverage in negotiating for the company.
- Understand capacity management and improve logistics to help manage lead times for products.
- Build redundancy and diversity in the supply chain by establishing multiple sources of supply.
- Help and support supplier business reviews as needed.
- Follow and provide input on company processes and policies around procurement.
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
- Additional duties as assigned
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or a related field of study
- 3 years of work experience whilst working in procurement or a supply chain discipline, or an aligned field.
- Contract, logistics and negotiation skills would be an advantage.
- Strong communications skills
- Knowledge / experience of MRP systems
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data, then reporting on data to decision makers
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers.
- Candidate must be willing to work in US Shifts (EST/CST) time zone Monday to Friday continuously.
- Hybrid work/Shifts allowed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in India without visa sponsorship
