The Receptionist sets the tone for the community by being an outstanding information source and knows all points of contact for every department within the property to promptly assist visitors. Assists with general office support by performing a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. He or she answers incoming calls, directs calls to appropriate personnel, distributes mail, manages the flow of correspondence, requisition supplies, and performs additional clerical duties as needed.

- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate, transferring callers to an associate’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
- Greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner
- Assists in ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- Act as main point of contact for residents, family members, and guests
- Helps with related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, collating, and any other tasks as requested by the supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written
- Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments

- Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn customized programs quickly
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least one year of clerical experience preferred
