General Summary
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, maintain and monitor performance. Perform complex and specialized PLC programs and technical support. Evaluate and recommend system upgrades. Design process control system. Develop and document the troubleshooting strategies of the logic controls. Work and elaborate with the electrical & control contractors through the company related projects.
Principal Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs and control components)
Maintain and monitor the performance of the control systems.
Perform complex and specialized PLC programs and technical support.
Evaluate and recommend system upgrades.
Design process control system.
Develop and document the troubleshooting strategies of the logic controls. Work and elaborate with the electrical & control contractors through the company related projects.
Assist managers and others in creating training curricula, materials, documentation.
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project managers for the resolution of complex engineering project controls issues.
Ability to skitch new blue prints and necessary drawings
Solve the PLC programming issues.
Solve the problems of the control logics.
Responsibility to provide a technical support for maintenance employees.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
2 years of Controls experience
Knowledge with Allen Bradley Controls (AB) and PLCs
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree or associate degree
4 years of Controls experience within the Food Manufacturing industry
3 years of AB and PLC experience
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$83,490.00 - $134,200.00Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
