Residential Fiber Designer

We are a telecommunications company, seeking individuals that have fiber to the home experience. This position is responsible for conducting fiber optic detailed network design for Fiber to the Home projects and requires an in-depth understanding of current fiber optic design standards and industry processes.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years design experience in the telecom industry, high focus on fiber technology
• AutoCAD Experience is Required: 3 Years Preferred
• You have outside plant fiber knowledge (Buried & Aerial)
• You have experience creating HLDs via Google Earth
• Create or Modify fiber splice plans
• Provide necessary information to construction or maintenance team on a timely basis, fiber design maps, splice plans, and BOM's
• Perform QC of construction prints and splicing sheets submitted by outside contractors and other sources
