POSITION SUMMARY: The Territory Account Specialist is a diverse position that will be responsible for managing a territory of assigned accounts and focus on food safety and sanitation audits, chemical training, dispenser installation, and maintenance in regional and national retail accounts. This role provides training to customer’s associates in the use of products, systems, and sanitation procedures. The role is required to be able to provide recommendations for appropriate sanitation or food safety corrective action(s) to maintain a high level of cleanliness and/or food safety. The TAS will be responsible for maintaining the Company’s high quality of sales and service to all customers. Response to customer service calls is also required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Territory to include assigned geographical region based on location, demand, and density. Conduct and complete food safety and sanitation audits Training customer associates in the use of products, systems, and sanitation procedures Install and maintain chemical dispensing equipment. Servicing of chemical dilution equipment including maintaining ware wash platforms Driving sales within the accounts by providing an inventory and suggested solution-oriented service for our customers at each visit Training store associates in the use of products, systems, and food safety sanitation procedures Recommending to customers appropriate corrective action to maintain a high level of cleanliness. Communicating significant sanitation violations to customer’s Quality Assurance department or other appropriate management within account Development and maintenance of good customer relations with each account The cleanliness, safeguarding, controlling and maintenance of equipment, vehicle, and all other property assigned to his/her area. Internal reporting and administrative duties REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent 2 years of Experience in food safety or sanitation 2 years of Email, Excel, and Word Valid Driver’s License Ability to travel 50% (minimum overnight travel is required) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. NEHA -CP-FS certification or become certified within one year of employment; RS, REHS, CP-FS, NRFSP registered preferred (or to will earn within the first 12 months of employment) Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally to achieve company goals. Professional attitude, good organizational skills, and self-motivated/directed. Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and human relation skills.
