Estimated Appointment End Date (Continuous if Blank) Full/Part-Time Full time Job Type Regular Compensation $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 Job Description Basic Purpose The position assigned to this job works with ODOC units to create original social media campaigns that drive engagement and increase awareness about ODOC services. Manages and caters to communities across social media audiences by responding to comments and connecting people to helpful resources. This role tracks platform analytics to inform and adjust OMES' digital strategy. Typical Functions Manages agency social media accounts on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram. Formulates high-quality written and visual content, including graphics and videos, for each social media campaign. Monitors the agency's brand on social media. Builds brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers, e.g., state leaders and partner agencies. Engages our online communities to ensure a respectful and appropriate experience. Responds to comments on each of our accounts. Oversees customer service provided via social media. Analyzes data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved objectives. Coaches employees agency wide on content creation standards and best practices. Attends events at the direction of the chief of Communications. Creates quality content for internal-facing communications. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Social media marketing experience, in Canva, and developing social media strategies. Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform. Proven ability to build social media communities. Understanding of graphic design and video principles. Experience as a brand manager on social media. Ability to measure the success of campaigns. Experienced in AP Styled and Adobe Creative Suite. A motivational team builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to cope with stress related to standard job functions, including but not limited to: meeting deadlines, receiving customer complaints and finding resolutions to the same, interactions with internal and external clients, multitasking and ability to handle high volume of work assignments, and all other duties as assigned. This position works in an office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field and one (1) year of related professional experience; or three (3) years of related professional experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements Travel may be required.
