ColoHouse recently acquired Turnkey Internet, a leading cloud and infrastructure as a service provider – focusing on web hosting, colocation, virtual and physical servers, and software as a service (SaaS) products. TurnKey Internet is a successful, stable, and fast-growing company, with 20 years in the Capital Region – offering IT on Demand to clients across the street, and around the globe. We are seeking local, hardworking, qualified candidates to join our growing team as we continue to expand.

Job Description:

If you have a passion for customer service, we want you on our team! The Customer Ambassador ensures every client of TurnKey Internet is impressed and left feeling ‘wow that is amazing customer service’ on each and every interaction that client may have had with our team.

In your role as Customer Ambassador, you will act as our front desk receptionist and greet our clients and guest as they enter our office building, maintain the organization and cleanliness of the lobby area and be the go to customer contact of Turnkey Internet. You will interact with our clients via telephone, email, and our online portal system as well as greet them in person at the front desk.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• 1 year experience as a receptionist or office coordinator/administrator
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Strong and effective verbal and written communications skills
• Advanced computer skills using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and internet navigation
• Ability to handle phone calls and transfers
• Detail Oriented and highly organized

Position Duties

· Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner. This includes checking clients in for visits, managing appropriate documentation, offering snacks, and managing the lobby area.

· Managing and coordinating catering orders for meetings and special events

· Managing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors

· Managing and overseeing break areas and activity rooms to ensure the adequate inventory of food items, beverages, utensils, etc., and ensure that these employee areas always kept clean and tidy

· Manage a multi-line phone system. This includes answering the phone promptly and assisting customers with questions.

· Manage daily current client contact report

· Keep lobby area organized and clean at all times

· In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned by Customer Service Manager

Position Hours

• Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

This is a full time on-site position, Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, working from our Latham NY Data Center.

Salary based on prior experience.
