Essential Job Responsibilities Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of inbound & outbound shipments Hand picked orders utilizing RF Scanner and picked tickets Conducting daily equipment checklist requirements and maintain cleanliness of equipment Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory Prepare, properly package and labeled shipments Operate forklifts and other equipment to move freight Perform cycle counts Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines Experience/ Skills Requirements Warehouse and logistics experience (1-2 years) Certification in forklift operation and other warehouse equipment used to move freight Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment Data entry and basic math skills Ability to perform the physical labor an to lift objects weighing between 20-70 pounds Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and comprehend Safety Manual & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Written and verbal communication skills Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software, e.g. RF handheld scanners Knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures Ability to work independently and with various teams.
