Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and fulfill the same job responsibilities as designated associates, while also directing their day-to-day workflow.
- Monitor warehouse and yard activities to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize forklifts for various tasks within the warehouse, demonstrating proficiency in safe operation.
- Operate machinery as needed, requiring mechanical inclination and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adapt to changing priorities and requirements to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work in a non-climate controlled environment, maintaining productivity and focus regardless of temperature fluctuations.
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
- Hold a valid driver’s license for tasks requiring driving responsibilities within the warehouse or yard.
- Prior experience operating a forklift and machinery within a warehouse setting.
- Mechanical inclination and aptitude for operating machinery safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with team members and management.
- Strong time management skills and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, maintaining productivity and focus.
