Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and construction estimating. Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints to projects
- Build and repair structures using various materials
- Perform masonry work for restoration projects
- Conduct caulking and carpentry tasks
- Fabricate components as needed
- Handle electrical tasks as required
- Handle welding tasks as required
- Engage in frame carpentry for structural integrity
Qualifications:
Electrical: may include undertaking wiring and lighting requirements in a project. You may work on basic or advanced electrical systems requiring different specialist equipment. You can take responsibility for analyzing and repairing existing electrical circuits in structures undergoing redevelopment. Many projects also involve new construction, so you can benefit from staying up to date with installation processes and safety precautions.
Plumbing: Know how to install water piping to transport water and waste. This skill is essential in for installing toilets, showers and water outlets offering drinking water. Ability to plan the space and material requirements for necessary plumbing. Where piping systems are eroding, your duties may include reconstruction planning and reinforcing existing pipes with anti-rust materials.
Painting: Understands color combinations and surface types as well as painting accessories and application methods. Can determine varying paint types and paint grades for residential and industrial projects.
Renovation: Basic knowledge of construction equipment and discarding debris.
Carpentry: Knowledge of cutting, polishing and fitting materials as part of complete structures. Are familiar with adhesive materials and nail types that support component integration. Ability to collaborate with plumbers, painting teams and electricians to complete installations correctly.
- Proven experience in the construction or restoration industry
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of various trades including masonry, carpentry, electrical work, welding, etc.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and frame carpentry
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
