Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Analyze financial data and documents to ensure accuracy in tax filings.
- Provide guidance on tax-related inquiries and educate clients on financial concepts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax preparation.
- Review previous tax returns for accuracy and identify potential deductions or credits.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline the preparation process.
- Assist in corporate accounting tasks as needed, including bookkeeping and account reconciliation.

Experience
- Previous experience in public accounting or as a tax preparer is preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage, is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices is a plus.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and market trends effectively.
