2 Brothers Moving & Delivery has an amazing opportunity for a full-time Fleet Operations Supervisor. Our Fleet Operations Supervisor ensures our team always has the right equipment they need to do their job well while maintaining our brand image to clients while maintaining our warehouse and storage product line.

Role (duties):

This role will be asked to do the following functions on a regular basis:

  • Fleet Truck Care (30%) : Ensure a reliable, clean, available fleet to make sure our customers get the right truck and tools for every job. Directly responsible for fleet wide DOT compliance. Complete vehicle inspections and accurately record compliance with cleanliness and damage. Responsible for coordinating all preventative maintenance and repairs promptly including obtaining quotes and ensuring warranty work. Perform basic maintenance on vehicles such as light bulbs, mirrors, roof patching etc. Respond to any vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. Provide training and support to drivers to improve their competencies.
  • Mobile Container Pickup & Delivery (30%): Manage a safe and secure storage product for our customers providing excellent customer service for our storage customers. Manage the storage container delivery calendar, schedule access appointments and handle customer inquires pertaining to the delivery and coordination of containers. Independently perform delivery and pickup routes of the containers, ready containers for customer access, and provide customer service to storage customers. Maintain and repair mobile containers, when necessary.
  • Materials & Equipment Care (20%): Provide support to the moving teams through availability of the right equipment & materials for every team, everyday. Maintain routine inventory of equipment quantity and condition, make orders when needed and repairs when required. Manage equipment & supply vendor relationships ensuring the best value for the organization.
  • Facilities Care & Admin (10%): Manage the maintenance of facilities including the office, yard and warehouse to ensure a clean, organized, functioning building and grounds. Responsible for all warehouse and yard security for access control and crime prevention. Manage the location of customer crates. Manage all supply, equipment and facility vendors and pricing.
  • Inter-Departmental Support (10%) - Provide backup support to the operations and moving teams as needed. Run materials and provide logistical support to moving projects on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate for this role will exhibit the following:

  • A valid drivers license with no more than 1 moving violation within the past 3 years (normal class C license is ok)
  • Demonstrated experience working independently with little to no supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail with experience creating and maintaining structure and a high level of organizational discipline
  • Experience driving a forklift and/or driving a small flatbed a plus but not required, we will train the right candidate

Compensation:
Compensation of $48,000 to $52,000 plus medical/dental/vision and paid time off.
