Job Overview: The University of Miami, Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Cardiologist with a specialized focus on Structural Imaging to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and advancement of our structural imaging program while providing expert care in general cardiology. Responsibilities: Clinical Practice: Provide exceptional patient care in general cardiology, including but not limited to diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Utilize advanced imaging techniques, with a specific focus on structural imaging, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Structural Imaging Program Development: Take a lead role in the development and growth of the structural imaging program within the cardiology department. Contribute to the implementation of advanced imaging protocols, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and research in structural imaging, integrating innovative approaches into the program. Education and Training: Actively participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues with a focus on advancing expertise in structural imaging. Contribute to continuing medical education programs and initiatives within the organization. Research: Engage in clinical research related to general cardiology and structural imaging, producing high-quality publications and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge. Collaborate with research teams, both within the institution and externally, to conduct meaningful and impactful studies. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Cardiology. Additional certification or substantial experience in Structural Imaging. Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Florida. Proven track record of excellence in general cardiology practice. Demonstrated expertise in advanced imaging techniques, with a specific emphasis on structural imaging. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
