The Department of Information Technology has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Change Management Specialist to work in Coral Gables, FL. The Change Management Specialist supports the planning and delivery of change management initiatives to promote and support user adoption of new technology and business processes, benefits realization, and change sustainability of new practices. Core Job Functions 1. Works with assigned clients to define specific stakeholder groups and impacts required for success. 2. Consults with clients and end-users to identify and analyze the change in business workflows. 3. Identifies and manages anticipated resistance to change. 4. Assists in developing and implementing change management plans that maximize adoption and usage and minimize resistance. 5. Supports the implementation and management of assessments, and the activities associated with change readiness. 6. Applies change management processes and tools to support adoption of changes required by a project or initiative. 7. Supports training efforts by assessing needs, documenting requirements, providing input on the design and delivery, and facilitating sessions as needed. 8. Develops and implements measures that track progress, outcomes, and benefits realization. 9. Supports the integration of change management discipline into project management practices. 10. Assists with the creation of Change Management communications and activities to support continuous engagement and participation to improve customer experience. 11. Supports Change Management and business leaders to develop a case for change, vision statement, initial impact assessment and change roadmap for projects. 12. Follows documented and agreed measurement & reinforcement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes, and achievement of business outcomes. 13. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
