The Department of Pediatrics - MCCD Outreach has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Post Doctoral Associate. The Post Doctoral Associate performs scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. Moreover, the Post Doctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community. Job Functions Lead support in the developmental and implementation of program model fidelity protocol and procedures. Lead fidelity assessments and clinical observations to determine program compliance and additional training needs. Review fidelity assessment outcomes with consultants and supervisors and develop a professional developmental plan in collaboration with supervisor, if needed. Create and perform presentations related to program implementation, adaption, and fidelity as needed. Create and update all program forms and assessments continually. Co-lead community-based data collection efforts, qualitative interviews and focus groups Lead support of database development and maintenance and data cleaning protocols and procedures. Lead all data analysis efforts for quantitative and qualitative data for the development of manuscripts and performance reports to funders that are data-focused. Support grant-writing and IRB applications. Conducts research on specific areas of study as assigned. Prepares research reports and technical papers for publishing. Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and theories. Maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories. Develops advanced analytical models and systems and provides solutions and analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or any related counseling field is required and being license-eligible is preferred. Experience: No prior experience required Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
