Group/Division SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents. Job Description Working alongside our existing Procurement Team, this role is responsible for providing best practise methodology in all Supply chain functions. This will include carrying out and assisting in the following capabilities and responsibilities. Procurement. Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations. Undertake problem solving and troubleshooting. Cost reduction initiatives. Inventory reduction initiatives. Develop & evaluate new suppliers Develop good relationships with current suppliers. Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats. Global supply chain initiatives. Logistic initiatives. Develop and understand key purchasing processes. Generating SAP reports and creating controlled measures. Understanding and creating Data to support key performance indicators. Creating a Purchasing dashboard to support Purchasing measures. For this role we are looking for someone who: Holds a Degree in a Supply Chain or Logistics Management category or equivalent level of experience. Is CIPS Accredited is (desirable). Has MRP / SAP understanding. Can demonstrate key expedite capability. Possesses strong relationship development ability.
