Job Description:
- Performs accounts payable duties, including processing payments and contacting responsible parties.
- Responsible for cash receipts and deposits.
- Post to appropriate computerized accounting programs or databases.
- Performs miscellaneous clerical duties.
- At least six (6) months of work experience performing accounts payable duties. Working with computerized spreadsheets, databases and other accounting-type programs is preferred.
- The ability to carry out various accounts clerical functions and must have knowledge of arithmetic, business English, spelling, and the operation and maintenance of common office appliances.
- This position to be shared between Maluhia's and Leahi Hospital's Accounting Department.
- Start Date: Effective immediately ( provided drug screening, background checks and health screening requirements are completed ); appointment shall be at least 1 month duration with the possibility of extension.
- Work location: Maluhia, may need to go to Leahi Hospital as needed.
- Must complete and pass 10-panel drug screen; 2-step TB clearance; criminal background check; preferred but not required fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and flu vaccination
