Roles and Responsibilities:
The Digital Case Analyst serves as a technical and subject matter expert in the management of digital evidence by providing support to the adjudication staff for all cases received for legal and analytical review and serves as the liaison between/among APD, the Enforcement Division, and IT Services to identify and troubleshoot issues with electronic case files.
Additionally, this position assists with training APD staff on the use of technology to develop exhibits, creates/revises APD internal fillable forms, and is the point of contact for technical issues/solutions
Required Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills;
Ability to review digital evidence, with close attention to detail;
Advanced computer skills, including the ability to promptly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to acquiring, copying, storing, and accessing digital evidence in multiple file formats in a Windows environment, including encrypted files, portable document format files, audio-video files, and medical imaging files.
Considerable knowledge of digital document duplication, electronic file transfer, encryption, and file storage;
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills;
Experience implementing quality control processes related to scanning/uploading digital files;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Considerable skill in effectively and independently managing time and assignments to meet deadlines;
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks;
Ability to apply policies;
Ability to handle confidential information;
Must be able to lift 30-35 pounds as well as meet other physical demands listed.
