Machine Operator will be responsible for TRUMPF equipment within Smart Factory operations and digitalization team. Machine Operator Responsibilities Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without aid and standing/walking on concrete surface for extended period. Operation of TRUMPF laser, punch, and press brake equipment Must have the ability to understand and communicate information. Must be able to sort, organize and separate parts followings production orders, drawings, setup plan. Ensure accuracy of inventory and must be able to check in the production system and confirm operation done. Must be able to read blueprints and use pin gauges and/or caliper to ensure part is within tolerance. General cleaning and preparation of production floor space. Must be able to use forklift to load raw material production and non-production materials. Record jobs finished or scrap parts in TRUMPF Oseon or Workmate. Activate and troubleshoot AGV for production or demo use. Using a variety of tools and machines, such as forklifts, power drills, air tools, grinders. Performing 5S and TPM activities in the department. Support employees when necessary (assist ATEs, and logistics). Deburr, grind and clean sheet metal parts. Ensure inventory levels of sheet metal storage system. Experience One-year TRUMPF operator experience or previous experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of MS Office products is a plus. Education High school and/or GED or Two-year technical degree with concentration in manufacturing is a plus. TRUMPF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
