GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Overall management, training, and development of front of house staff. The Front of House Managers will collaborate with the Staffing Manager to train and develop new leads as well as counsel and coach all front of house staff. The FOH Managers will assist the sales team in the planning and execution of events. In this hybrid role the Front of House Managers will split their time between in office collaboration sessions, overseeing event leads and staff onsite, and leading specific events while always upholding 24 Carrots’ policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots handbook and policies.
- Represent and uphold the 24 Carrots' core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and Dedication.
- Review upcoming events and BEO’s and collaborate with sales team on event planning.
- Provide after action reports based on event evaluation feedback.
- Confirming weekly tasting schedule as well as training and overseeing tasting servers.
- Ensure staff are in proper uniform by performing uniform checks.
- On site assessment of staff’s understanding and knowledge of BEO.
- Assist leads with assignments and staff management.
- Assist in creating and distributing 24 "Cares" packages to various events.
- Administer and grade server training tests.
- Send out trainee feedback forms and track responses.
- Communicate and hold employees accountable to company policies and procedures.
- Coach and mentor direct report leads.
- Conduct training exercises with on site staff to elevate 24 Carrots Service standards.
- Assist Staffing Manager in various tasks as necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervise event staff members. Carry out supervisory duties in accordance with 24 Carrots’ policies, handbook, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include overseeing and directing employees as well as addressing complaints and solving problems. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in working in a computer environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience utilizing a time and attendancesystem.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routinecorrespondence.
- Ability to effectively and courteously deal with the coworkers and the general public.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but there will be cases where the noise level is loud to extremely loud.
- This position occasionally requires work that exceeds 40 hours per week and occasionally requires flexibility to start shift earlier and end shift later with little to no notice.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
24 Carrots expects employees to dress appropriately in business casual attire. Business casual attire includes suits, pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and dresses that, while not formal, are appropriate for a business environment.
- Jeans are acceptable but should be in a clean/neat condition and without holes or stains. While jeans are acceptable at the office, they are not acceptable onsite at events or when participating in face to face meetings with clients.
- Clothing with offensive or inappropriate designs are notpermitted.
- Clothing should not be too revealing (No cleavage or short dresses/skirts/shorts)
- Hair should be kept at a natural color, bright colors not permitted (For example: green, yellow, blue, pink, purple, etc.)
- Conservative, simple and minimal makeup is encouraged.
- Employees are allowed to have a neatly trimmed beard, mustache, or goatee that is no longer than 1cm.
- Visible tattoos are not permitted and must be covered at all times.
- Scented products such as fragrances, colognes, lotions and powders that are perceptible to others should not be worn by employees.
