Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a CNC Machinist located in Austin, TX.
2nd Shift: 4X10 1:30 pm – 12:00am Tuesday-Friday
Job Description:
· Setup and operate various conventional machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, vertical and horizontal saws to produce and detail a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances and hold to finishes specifications.
· Must be able to setup and operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Mazak vertical mills with Mazatrol.
· Work with priority listings to complete fixtures/parts as required for production floor.
· Accurately read 3 dimensional drawings and blueprints and be able to setup manual machines to within tolerance specified to produce products/fixtures.
· Performs machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
· Checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances .
· Make edits to CNC programming at machine controls if needed.
· Must understand GD&T
Must be able to use measurement equipment
