Hospitality is the most important part of the Server’s responsibilities. The keys to success for a Server include a clean, neat appearance, positive attitude, and courtesy.

• Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits.
• Practices positive public relations by ensuring our restaurant is welcoming and makes our guests’ experience pleasurable.
• Shows enthusiasm and willingness to “Go The Extra Mile”.
• Promotes teamwork by assisting the other 251 Team Members to ensure outstanding guest service.

Operational Excellence:

• Thoroughly understand our menu and ensure guests’ receipts match the number of guests dining in their party.
• Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties.
• Brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager.
• Familiar with the correct table bussing procedures.
• Follows safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of other Co-workers and guests.

Cleanliness:

• Performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
• Follows local health department laws.

What You Need to Succeed

• Skills of Multi-tasking, listening and communication skills.
• Job Qualifications – Must be of legal age to serve based on state requirements.
• Perform the Physical Demands – Lift and carry up to 30 pounds, remain on your feet for several hours, work under pressure, bend, reach, and stoop.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

• Arrives at work on time, well-groomed in a clean uniform for every shift.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Always demonstrates a positive attitude, willing to help-out where needed.
• Follows all 251 CB safety, sanitation, and employee guidelines.
• Follows direction from managers and owners in setting up the restaurant for business.
• Maintains a clean work area during the shift.
• Follows 251 CB steps of service in exceeding the guest’s experience.
• Knowledgeable of 251 CB’s menu and suggestive sells items to enhance the dining experience.
• Assists other team members in the taking care of guests, cleaning and maintaining tables, and running food.
• Understands basic money handling and can make proper change.
• Must be flexible in schedule requirements as hours may fluctuate.
• Work well with all types of customers and co-workers
• Assist other employees to complete any tasks during shift.
• Willing to clean all areas of the restaurant as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Minimal Requirements:

• Education: Can read all training materials printed in English.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Complete requirements of job without constant supervision.
• Natural smiling personality.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is not required but is preferred.

Physical Requirements for this Position:

• Continuous standing, bending, lifting/carrying items (up to 30 pounds), including food service trays to and from the kitchen.
• Must be able to smile at all times while maintaining a positive service attitude at all times.
• Ability to communicate with all guests clearly and cheerfully.
• Able to be on their feet for prolonged period of times.
• Must be able to balance and carry multiple food and beverages to and from dining area.
• Must be able to bend and reach to clean under and around tables, booths, and other seating; as well as reaching to restock necessary items on buffet bar.

Pay:

• $7.25 - $10.00 per hour (including tips)
• Discounted Meals (while working)

Schedule:

• 8-12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Saturday
• Overtime (if needed)
